We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site.   We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their enquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. What data do we collect on emphasis360.com?

We collect and store minimal data on the emphasis360 platform: only what is necessary in order for you to interact with the programme as you (or your company, on your behalf) have requested to do.

Once you sign up to a course or are enrolled on emphasis360.com, we will hold your name and email address. We may also hold information on the company you work for, if your company provided us with that information when you were enrolled.

As you interact with the programmes, your activity will also be logged and held.

Our lawful grounds for processing holding this data are consent, performance of a contract and legitimate interests.

 

Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for we look at its amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements.

For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they stop being customers.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

 

Your legal right to your data

Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.

You can request access to your data at any time by visiting your profile page (click your name in the top right of the screen, then under ‘Privacy and policies’ click ‘Export all of my personal data’ or ‘Data requests’ then ‘New request’. 

You can also request that all your personal data be deleted by clicking ‘Delete my account’. Doing so will mean you can no longer access the programme. We will comply with data-deletion requests as soon as possible, and always within 30 days of the request.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.
